HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Deep in the Heart of Texas, Alabama A&M (5-8, 2-1 SWAC) softball will look to build on a strong Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) opening series as they travel to Prairie View A&M (2-7, 2-1 SWAC) for a three-game set from March 26-27. Game 1 of the series is set for 3 p.m. on Friday, March 26 with the doubleheader portion starting at noon on Saturday, March 27.
The Bulldogs come in having won four of their last five games, including two of three over fellow SWAC opponent Southern last weekend. They earned 6-5 and 5-3 victories to bookend a Jaguars victory while PVAMU snapped a six-game losing streak against Mississippi Valley State. They took the first two games of that series by scores of 6-3 and 4-2 before dropping a 12-7 decision in the finale.
