Alabama A&M Baseball To Play Pair of Games at Trash Pandas' Toyota Field

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M baseball will have the opportunity to play under the lights at a brand new State-of-the-Art facility this week as they will face rival Alabama State at Toyota Field on Thursday, April 1 and Friday, April 2.

Home of the Rocket City Trash Pandas, one of the newest minor league teams in baseball and the Double-A affiliate of Major League Baseball's Los Angeles Angels, Toyota Field will host the Bulldogs prior to its primary resident seeing action at the field.

The stadium was built in advance of the club's anticipated inaugural season in 2020, features some of the latest amenities, including a jumbotron in right center field, and was originally slated to host A&M and Alabama State last March 22.

Now, more than a year later, those rivals will meet at Toyota Field with 6 p.m. first pitches in the first two games of their three-game set, with the finale being back at Bulldog Field on Saturday, April 3.

Tickets for the games are $10 apiece with gates opening to the general public at 5 p.m. both days. No outside food or drink will be allowed inside the stadium and chairs will not be permitted. Please note that all bags will be checked prior to entry. Fans can find their way to the field at 500 Trash Panda Way in Madison, Alabama.
