HAMMOND, La. – Senior

Davis notched a 1-of-22 finish in the 400-meters as she crossed the line in 55.75 before helping to deliver a 2-of-7 performance in the 4x400 relay (3:52.59). She was joined in the latter by junior

"This meet showed me I️ have so much more in me to reach my goal," said Davis. "The team, overall, has shown major improvement from the beginning of the season to now. The grind most definitely doesn't stop here."
The Bulldogs would have a bevy of impressive individual performances as senior
Sabria Wooten (Dallas, Ga.) posted a 2-of-18 finish in her signature event, the 1,500-meters (5:01.87), while senior
Danice Loney (Melbourne, Fla.) placed 1-of-2 in the pole vault, clearing a height of 3.65-meters.
Sophomore
Aneisha Ingram (Frankfield, Jamaica) would add to the top five finishes as she placed 4-of-21 in the 800-meters with a time of 2:21.35 and freshman
Briana Cox (Miami, Fla.) was 5-of-12 in the shot put at 10.90-meters. Junior
Precious Haynes (Richmond, Calif.) rounded out the Top-10 performances as she placed 9-of-19 in the 200-meters with a time of 25.94.
"Today was a good meet and I'm personally proud of the team," said senior leader Loney. "A lot of personal records and season bests today. We went in ready to leave it all on the track and each week I have getting better in my approach and jump. Just staying patient and trusting the process. Success is gradual. Got a long way to go and I do not plan on stopping."
Continuing an extensive spring schedule, Alabama A&M is back in action next Saturday, April 17 at the prestigious USC Open in Columbia, South Carolina.
