Jasmine Boyd and Alabama A&M women's tennis have earned the No. 4 seed in the 2021 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Tournament and will face No. 6 seed Alcorn State.

Alabama A&M Women’s Tennis Heads To New Orleans as No. 4 Seed in SWAC Tournament; Faces Alcorn State

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M (4-6, 4-3 SWAC) women's tennis has earned the No. 4 seed in the 2021 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Tournament and will face No. 6 seed Alcorn State (3-12, 2-5 SWAC) in quarterfinal action at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 16.
 
The Bulldogs enter the tournament having dropped their last four outings but their last win came against the Braves, 4-3, on March 12. Meanwhile, Alcorn has lost their last four since defeating Mississippi Valley State on March 13.
 
The winner of that match will advance to the semifinals to take on top seeded Alabama State at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 17. The 2021 SWAC Championship will be decided at 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 18.
