HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Following a two-week hiatus, Alabama A&M (8-11, 5-4 SWAC) softball returns to action as they head to Jackson State (10-17, 6-4 SWAC) for a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) series beginning on Saturday, April 17.
Originally scheduled for April 16-17, the series was moved back a day to avoid severe weather. The opener will still be at 5 p.m. while the doubleheader portion will go at 12 p.m. on Sunday, April 18.
A&M comes in having won two of their last three having taken a series at Alcorn State from April 2-3, winning the first two by scores of 11-3 and 3-0. Meanwhile, JSU has dropped four of their last five, including a series at Alabama State and, more recently, a doubleheader vs. Louisiana-Monroe (10-0 and 10-5, Apr. 15).
