Alabama A&M's Closes Out 2021 SWAC Men's Golf Championship
 
ALEXANDRIA, La. – Alabama A&M closed out the final day of the 2021 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Men's Golf Championships in fifth place, finishing with scores of at 319-326-358-1003 on Wednesday, April 21.
 
Junior Jason Johnson (Toledo, Ohio) led the Bulldogs the entire tournament, placing 18-of-24 with rounds of 77-78-88-243 while sophomore Torrance Allen (Ellenwood, Ga.) came in in 20^th at 82-79-87-248.
 
Prairie View A&M fired an 897 to claim the SWAC Championship as they overtook runner-up Alabama State (907) on the final day while Arkansas-Pine Bluff (917) and Texas Southern (952) came in at third and fourth, respectively.
 
Alabama A&M returns to action from May 4-8 as they close out the regular season with the PGA Works Collegiate Championship. That tournament will be held at the PGA Village in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
