HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M (8-14, 5-7 SWAC) softball returns home for the first time in 34 days as they host rival Alabama State (11-25, 6-6 SWAC) in a three-game set on Friday, April 23 and Saturday, April 24.
 
Due to inclement weather expected over the course of the weekend, the first day of the series will feature a doubleheader beginning at 12 p.m. with the final game set for 1 p.m. on Saturday.
 
The Bulldogs come in having lost four in a row, including a three-game set at Jackson State this past weekend, while ASU has lost four of their last six, including an 8-2 decision to Mississippi Valley State.
