BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama A&M bowling is preparing for the 2021-22 season and has announced information for tryouts on August 27.
In preparation for those tryouts, which are set for between 3-5 p.m. at Bulldog Lanes in the AAMU Wellness Center, potential student-athletes will need to take care of several things beforehand in order to participate.
Among them will be to e-mail head athletic trainer
Jessie Zucnick-Kimbugwe (
Jessie.Zucnick@AAMU.edu) an insurance card and vaccination card or proof of three non-consecutive negative COVID-19 tests by 4 p.m. on August 25.
Additionally, individuals will have had to have been tested the week of tryouts and get signatures from Zucnick-Kimbugwe (Aug. 26, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.) and head coach
James Moore. The latter will be available at Bulldog Lanes on Tuesday, August 24 and Thursday, August 26 from 12:30-2 p.m.
Individuals will also need signatures from either
D'Wayne Robinson or Ed Egerton with Compliance. Both Zucnick-Kimbugwe and Compliance are located in the Council Training Building.
Once an individual has those items completed they should plan on being at the lanes prior to 3 p.m. on August 27. Any questions should be addressed to
James Moore at (256) 520-4254 or by e-mail at James.Moore@AAMU.edu.
