HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M (0-0, 0-0 SWAC) women's basketball will get an early assessment on where an almost entirely new roster stands as they take on Southeastern Conference (SEC) foe Alabama (0-0, 0-0) on Monday, November 7. Game time is set for 5 p.m. in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
A&M got their first look at that new roster with a 67-44 victory at NCAA Division II Alabama-Huntsville (11/2) while Alabama is coming off a 20-14 season that saw a 6-10 mark in the SEC. It would also be a campaign that would see them make a deep run in the Women's National Invitational Tournament (WNIT), falling to South Dakota State 78-73 in the Quarterfinals.
ALL-TIME SERIES
The Bulldogs and Crimson Tide have met eight times dating back to December 17, 2007 with UA holding an 8-0 all-time record. Twice A&M came within five points, falling 62-57 in that first meeting and 67-62 on December 20, 2010. The clubs last met on November 10, 2017 with Alabama notching a 90-32 decision.
