BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama A&M women's track and field produced solid performances as they returned to action at the Bulldog Open on Saturday, February 12.
Junior
Aneisha Ingram (Frankfield, Jamaica) finished 24-of-53 in the 800-meters notching a time of 2:24.22 and freshman
Taylor Wingo (D'Iberville, Miss.) followed closely in 26
th and stopped the clock at 2:26.48.
Freshman
De'Ajene Johnson (Detroit, Mich.) placed 28
th and crossed the line in 2:27.56. Sophomore
Briana Cox (Miami, Fla.) placed 22-of-41 in the weight throw with a distance of 13.12 meters to round out the AAMU top performers.
The Bulldogs will be back in action as they return to the Birmingham CrossPlex on February 17-18 as they compete in the 2022 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Track and Field Championships.
