BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama A&M women's track and field produced solid performances as they wrapped up the 2022 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday, February 18.
Junior
Aneisha Ingram (Frankfield, Jamaica) led AAMU with a top-10 finish with a 7-of-22 outing in the 800-meters, stopping the clock at 2:20.17. Freshman
Taylor Wingo (D'Iberville, Miss.) followed just two spots behind in ninth and clocked 2:21.67.
Graduate
Jairyn Russell (Birmingham, Ala.) finished 14-of-34 in the 60-meters, notching a time of 8.56.
Sophomore
Briana Cox (Miami, Fla.) was the only representative for the Bulldogs in the weight throw placing 12-of-25 (14.22m) to round out the AAMU top performers.
The Bulldogs will return to the track with the outdoor season scheduled to begin in March.
