HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M (1-8, 0-0 SWAC) continues their 2022 season as they prepare to host Eastern Illinois (7-3, 0-0 OVC) for a three-game series from March 11-13. First pitch of the opener is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Toyota Field in Huntsville, Alabama, home of the Los Angeles Angels AA affiliate Rocket City Trash Pandas.
The opener was originally slated for 6:30 p.m. but has been moved up to avoid inclement weather expected to hit the Greater Huntsville area tomorrow evening. The final two games will be held on campus with start times of 1 p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m. on Sunday.
The Bulldogs are coming off a 12-1 defeat at Alabama-Birmingham on Sunday, March 6 following an 11-9 victory the day before while EIU delivered a 4-2 victory at Illinois on Tuesday, March 8.
