HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M (2-11, 0-0 SWAC) baseball will open conference play at Mississippi Valley State (4-5-1, 0-0 SWAC) for a three-game series from March 19-20. Originally first pitch of the doubleheader was slated for 12 p.m. on Saturday at the Magnolia Field but has now been pushed back to only one game at 6 p.m. The doubleheader will now take place on Sunday, March 20 with the first game scheduled at noon.
The Bulldogs are coming off a 5-3 victory over Stillman College on Tuesday, March 14 while MVSU tied 8-8 at Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday, March 5.
