MURRAY, Ky. – Alabama A&M women's track & field returned to action on the first day of the Margaret Simmons Invitational on Friday, March 25.
Junior
Fabiona Jackson-Jenkins (Montgomery, Ala.) led the Bulldogs with a 15-of-58 finish in the 200-meters in a time of 25.77, graduate
Jairyn Russell (Birmingham, Ala.) was 27-of-58, stopping the clock at 26.66 and senior
Shanique Masters (St. Catherine, Jamaica) finished 29-of-58 with a time of 26.73 in the same event.
Sophomore
Briana Cox (Miami, Fla.) would represent AAMU in the field events with 9-of-27 finish in the hammer throw with a distance of 44.52-meters.
The Bulldogs will be back in action tomorrow, Saturday, March 26 as they close out the Margaret Simmons Invitational.
