HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M (5-10, 0-0 SWAC) softball's home opening doubleheader against Columbia State Community College, scheduled for Tuesday, March 8, has been postponed due to heavy rains and severe weather moving through the Huntsville area.
 
Those games have been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 29 at Bulldog Field, one of several adjustments to the schedule. Additionally, A&M's last three series will be three game affairs beginning with a trip to Florida A&M. The first game of that set will now go at 4 p.m. on April 15 with a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. on April 16.
 
The following weekend the Bulldogs will head to Jackson, Mississippi to take on Jackson State at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 22. They will now follow that with a 12 p.m. doubleheader the following day.
 
Alabama A&M's final series, this one at home against Mississippi Valley State from April 29-30, will now include a second game on the final day.
