BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – With just nine individuals competing on Day 1 of the Green and Gold Invitational, Alabama A&M men's and women's track & field delivered several strong finishes on Friday, April 8.
Junior
Aneisha Ingram (Frankfield, Jamaica) anchored those performances with a 23-of-41 finish stopping the clock at 5:11.15. She would be joined on the women's side by sophomore
Briana Cox (Miami, Fla.) who produced a 14-of-26 finish in the hammer, hitting a mark of 39.70-meters
For the men, junior
Isaiah McCaulley (Huntsville, Ala.) finished 15-of-27 in the hammer at 43.19-meters.
The Bulldogs get into full swing tomorrow, Saturday, April 9 as 14 total student-athletes will compete on the final day of the Green and Gold Invitational hosted by Alabama-Birmingham.
