HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – With a 10-day gap on the schedule, Alabama A&M (2-3, 0-0 SWAC) has added a non-conference trip to Florida International (2-3, 0-0 C-USA) on Wednesday, September 6. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. in Miami, Florida.
This will be the first meeting between the teams in program history and both come in with identical records. The Bulldogs two victories came via 1-0 shutout victories over Troy (8/22) and Jacksonville State (8/26) with their most recent outing being a 2-0 loss at Southern Illinois, another first-time opponent. FIU dropped decisions to Louisiana (2-1 on 8/18) and Mississippi State (3-1 on 8/21) before knocking of Stetson (3-1 on 8/25) and Southern (4-2 on 8/28). Most recently they fell by a 2-1 margin to Lipscomb (9/4).
