HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M softball has announced a change in schedule for their home series against conference opponent Florida A&M for the weekend.
With games originally scheduled to begin on Friday, due to weather and field conditions the two teams will push their doubleheader to Saturday, April 8 at 1 and 3 p.m.
Â
The Bulldogs (15-14, 6-6 SWAC) and the Rattlers (15-15, 8-4 SWAC) are separated by just two games in the conference standings, while Florida A&M took home a 4-3 win earlier this season in non-conference play as part of the HBCU Heritage Classic in Montgomery on Saturday, February 25.
Â
A&M is also looking to end a three-game slide in the series against the Rattlers, as their last win came on the road in Tallahassee with a 5-1 road win.
