HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University women's cross country team finished 26
th during Saturday's UAH Charger Invitational at John Hunt Park.
The Bulldogs recorded 699 points to claim the 26
th spot. Pittsburg State won the meet with 62 points, followed by Chico State (67), Cedarville (97), Nova Southeastern (173) and Tampa (193).
Sanyae Gibson placed 134
th, crossing the line in 23:50.20.
Taylor Wingo followed behind in 23:53.80, while
Brianna Samuels recorded a time of 24:56.20. Minka Samuels (24:56.20),
Neveah Carrizal (25:36.50) and
Tamijah Scriven (27:06.20) rounded out the team scoring.
Corinne Lynch, of Cedarville, won the meet, with a time of 20:39.4.
Alabama A&M concludes the season on Monday, Oct. 21 at the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee, Fla.
