THE HILL | The Alabama A&M women's tennis head coach Willis Mbandi announced the 2025 spring schedule Wednesday afternoon, featuring three Conference USA (CUSA) and two Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) opponents.

The Bulldogs went 7-15 overall and 4-5 in Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play last season and won the HBCU National Championship in September.

"It's always exciting when we get to compete," Mbandi said. "We feel like we prepared well this fall, and we look forward to a successful season."

Alabama A&M opens the spring campaign at Mississippi State in Starkville on January 31. AAMU's home opener is slated for February 8 as the Bulldogs take on Jacksonville State. Alabama A&M will head to Chattanooga, Tennessee to play Presbyterian and UT Chattanooga over Valentines Day weekend. The Bulldogs finish the month hosting Middle Tennessee on February 23, the first of three home competitions.

The Bulldogs will play host to Troy and UAB on March 1 and 2 to begin the month. AAMU will travel to Jackson, Mississippi March 7-9 for a trio of conference matches, first against Southern University, followed by Bethune-Cookman, and ending the weekend versus Grambling State. AAMU returns to the Alabama A&M Tennis Courts where they will host  Clark Atlanta on March 14. The Bulldogs face rival Alabama State on March 16 in Montgomery, Alabama before playing three consecutive SWAC matches March 28-30, first against Florida A&M and Prairie View A&M before facing Alcorn State.

April will see four road contests, starting April 2 against Tennessee State and facing Jackson state three days later. The Bulldogs will battle at Western Kentucky on April 10 and travel to Tuskegee on April 12. In the only home match of the month, the Bulldogs welcome UT Southern on April 11.
