D'Iberville, Miss | The Alabama A&M University bowling team placed first at the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) West Round-Up, finishing with a 11-3 record over the weekend. The Bulldogs were paced by Nila Dulcio and Rose Ugbinada's 2,770 and 2,655 pins. The tournament, hosted at Cypress Lane was attended by all eight teams in the conference. The victory marks the third first place finish this season for the Bulldogs.
Two of seven Bulldogs found themselves in the top 15 of the scoring list, with Dulcio and Ugbinada in seventh and 13th place respectively. The Maroon and White dropped a pair of matches to Prairie View A&M and a match to Southern University. AAMU will return to Cypress Lanes for the 2025 SWAC East Round-Up on February 7-9.The results of the East and West round ups will determine the regular season conference champions
