BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Alabama A&M University graduate guard Coriah Beck and center Moses Davenport received Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Women's Basketball weekly honors, the conference announced on Wednesday.
 
Beck, who earned Co-Player of the Week honors, averaged a team-best 15.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in games against UAB and Alabama. She shot 93.8 percent (15-of-16) from the free-throw line. Against UAB, the Memphis, Tenn. native played nearly 38 minutes, finishing with 19 points, including 13 coming from the line, with four boards, one assist, one steal and one blocked shot.
 
Davenport, who was named the SWAC's Impact Player of the Week, averaged 13.5 points and 5.0 rebounds in the two games. She shot 64.3 percent (9-of-14) from the floor. Against UAB, the Troy, Ala. native was 6-of-9 from the floor and recorded 17 points, seven boards, three blocked shots, two steals and one assist.
 
Beck shared the honor with Texas Southern's Daeja Holmes and Bethune-Cookman's Alexandria Johnson was selected the Newcomer of the Week.
 
Alabama A&M continues its five-game road swing on Friday with a trip to Reno, Nev. as the Bulldogs take on Nevada. Tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m. (central) from the Lawlor Events Center and streamed on the Mountain West Network.
