Bowling to Compete in Stallings Invitational

GREENSBORO, N.C. | The Alabama A&M University bowling team is set to compete in the Stallings Invitational, hosted by North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro, North Carolina. Competition is set to start Friday morning and conclude Sunday afternoon.

Last time at the lanes, the Bulldogs grabbed fourth place in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) East Round-Up, finishing with an 18-10 record over the weekend. The Bulldogs were paced by Rose Ugbinada and Tamyra Long's 2,561 and 2,603 total over the Round-up.

The Maroon and White saw three bowlers in the top 15 of the scoring list, with Ugbinada, Long and Nila Dulcio taking consecutive places starting at the ninth position.  At the conclusion of the Round-Up, Long and Ugbinada were both named to the All-Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Second Team.
