THE HILL | The Alabama A&M University softball team is set to host the Rattlers of Florida A&M on Friday and Saturday at the Bulldog Softball Field. First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 2 p.m. and the theme is Camo. Saturday's double header will start at noon, with the second game commencing at 2:30.

The Bulldogs (14-12, 5-1 SWAC) looks to continue their conference winning streak, picking up victories in five of the six Southwestern Athletic Conference games they've played so far. Most recently, the Maroon and White went 2-1 against rival Alabama State. The Bulldogs opened the series with a 5-2 win. ASU clinched a slim 7-6 victory after a six-run fifth inning pushed them just past the Bulldogs. AAMU rebounded in the second contest of the doubleheader, picking up an 8-4 win to claim the series.

The Rattlers (7-16, 3-3 SWAC) look to get back into the winning column after dropping a pair to the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats. FAMU did claim the opening contest of the series with a 7-3 decision. Florida A&M went 2-1 against Alabama State.

The Rattlers lead in the all-time series 16-5, but the Bulldogs claimed the victory in the most recent meeting, earning a 7-6 decision in Tallahassee. All three games will be live streamed on Bulldogs All-Access. Admission is free for fans attending in person and patrons can park either at Bulldogs Softball Field or at the AAMU Event Center.
