THE HILL | The Alabama A&M University volleyball team will open their 2025 Southwestern Athletic Conference with four matches on The Hill, as head Coach Dr. Brandon Reeves announced the conference schedule on Thursday morning.
The Bulldogs end the non-conference slate in the Volunteer State by competing in the Rocky Top Invitational before returning to Rocket City to host Grambling State University on Sept. 28Â for their conference home opener. The Maroon and White remain on The Hill and welcome the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions the following day before hosting the Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman and Rattlers of Florida A&M on Oct. 3 and 5 respectively.
AAMU will see its first road tests in the Magnolia State, facing the Jackson State Tigers and the Mississippi Valley State Devilettes on Oct.12 and 13. Alabama A&M remain on the road for a mid-season non-conference match against Memphis before heading to Montgomery to face in-state conference rival Alabama State on Oct. 17.
The Bulldogs then host the Hornets in Elmore Gymnasium on Oct. 22 to kick off a three-game homestand, welcoming Prairie View A&M on Oct. 26 and Texas Southern the following day.
Alabama A&M will round out the month of October and enter the final month of play with a pair of road contests, traveling to the Sunshine State to play the Wildcats and Rattlers for the second time in the season on Oct. 31 and Nov. 3. The final homestand of the 2025 season will come by way of the Tigers and Delta Devils, as JSU and MVSU come to AAMU on Nov. 9 and 10 respectively.
The final regular season competitions will see the Bulldogs take on the Alcorn State Braves on Nov.14 and Southern University Jaguars on  Nov. 16.
The 2-25 SWAC Championship will take place in Tallahassee, Fla on Nov. 21-23.
