THE HILL | With the first home softball game set for Tuesday, the Alabama A&M University athletics department has announced the upcoming game themes for the Bulldogs home slate. 
 
The Bulldogs will have their Opening Day Bash on Tuesday when Alabama A&M plays host to Western Illinois in a single game, beginning at 12 p.m.
 
AAMU will honor Breast Cancer Awareness on Feb. 25 as the Bulldogs have a doubleheader against Oakwood with a 12 p.m. start. Fans are encouraged to wear pink for the twinbill.
 
The first Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) game is set for March 6 when Bethune-Cookman comes to town. First pitch for the opener is set for 2 p.m. as fans are encouraged to wear white.
 
A midweek doubleheader awaits a few days later when the Maroon & White play host to Detroit Mercy for Health & Wellness Day. First pitch for the first game starts at 12 p.m.
 
Break out the cowboy boots for Boots & Bulldogs, a Western theme on March 25 when the Bulldogs play host to Rust College in a doubleheader. The opening game begins at 12 p.m.
 
Alabama A&M closes out its themes on Saturday, April 11 with Senior Day as the Bulldogs welcome Mississippi Valley State to town. The doubleheader will begin at 11 a.m.
