Alabama A&M Drops Saturday Contest to Georgia State

THE HILL | The Alabama A&M women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Georgia State on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action on the Hill. 


Georgia State secured the early advantage by claiming the doubles point. The Panthers earned wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions.


In singles play, Georgia State continued to build momentum, capturing victories across the lineup to secure the match. The following match victories at No. 1 singles and the No. 2 spot added to Georgia State's advantage.   


The Panthers added additional singles wins at No. 4 and at No. 5. Georgia State closed out the match with a three-set victory at No. 6 singles.


UP NEXT

Alabama A&M 2-8 overall will remain on the Hill to face Western Kentucky on March 17th. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
