Bulldog Cross Country Ends Season

NORMAL – The Alabama A&M women’s cross-country team ended the 2011 season in 8^th place in the 2011 Southwestern Athletic Conference cross country championships.

Junior Shaquina Phalo was named second-team All-SWAC. Junior Takaunia Carstarphen was named to the top 20 All-Conference team while Marquia Humphrey was named AAMU’s top freshman.

Brittany Beasley, D’Arnca Bloodworth, Takaunia Carstarphen, Shaquina Phalo and Brittany Scott all were named to the 2011 All-SWAC Academic team.
