OXFORD – The Lady Bulldogs cross country team opened their 2011 season by finishing fourth on Friday evening at the Oxford Lake and Recreation Area.

Takaunia Carstarphen led the team finishing 10
th with a time of 12:56.24. Sophomore Raven Dove ended the event in 23
rd place while Marqia Humphrey placed 26
th.
The Kim Seals led squad finished fourth out of eight teams competing in Jacksonville State annual season opening run.
Alabama A&M will run next week in Huntsville, Alabama as they will compete in the University of Alabama at Huntsville, Fleet Feet Sports/Earl Jacoby Memorial 5k and 8k run.
