A&M Softball Opens 2012 Season

NORMAL - After a rainout home opener last weekend the Lady Bulldogs softball team will open their 2012 season in Birmingham, Alabama in the Birmingham Southern College Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 25-26^th.

Last season, A&M finished the year ranked fifth overall in the Eastern Division and a 4-26 overall mark.

The Lady Bulldogs open the season with Case Western Reserve at 12 p.m. They will conclude the evening's slate of games closing things out with a battle against tournament host Birmingham Southern with a 6 p.m. first pitch. That game can be followed via Live Stats.

The Maroon and White will face Centre on Sunday afternoon at 12 p.m., and then conclude the day with a 2:00 p.m. match-up versus Huntingdon College.
