Lady Bulldog runners complete 2013 Foothills Invitational

Normal- The Lady Bulldogs cross country squad completed the 2013 Foothills Invitational this weekend hosted by the Gamecocks of Jacksonville State.

The 5K run at in Oxford, Alabama hosted 13 programs. The programs were split into two groups (red, white) based on division. The White division included nine Division II programs, while the Red contained the four Division I programs.

A&M competed with Mercer, Tennessee Tech and host Jacksonville State. The Lady Bulldogs five runners combined for a total time of 2:04:29.51 and an average time of 24:53.91.

Sophomore, Keanna McIntyre led the Maroon & White with a time of 21:15.30, good for 46^th place overall (including Division II competition).

Brianna Williams (22:13.38), Michelle Scott (23:35.57), followed behind McIntyre, with D'Neesha Hamiel and Chelsea Prather rounding out the group with times of 27:36.32 and 29:48.42 respectively.

The Maroon & White will hit the ground running again, next week at the Coach "O" Invitational hosted by Troy University, on October 12.
