CLINTON, Miss. – Alabama A&M women's cross country finished their 2021 season at the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Championships, finishing 6-of-12 in an NCAA Division I meet on Monday, October 18.

Sabria Wooten's last championship and she was able to finish with a season personal best, along with all of her teammates."
The Bulldogs had five competitors in the women's 5k race, headlined by senior
Sabria Wooten (Dallas, Ga.) and her 12-of-72 finish. She would cover the distance in a time of 19:47.47 while junior
Aneisha Ingram (Frankfield, Jamaica.) finished two spots behind her with a time of 20:01.39.
Freshman
Taylor Wingo (D'Iberville, Miss.) crossed the line in 22
nd (20:38.51) while freshman
De'Ajene Johnson (Detroit, Mich.) stopped the clock at 22:01.34 and finished 41
st.
Rounding out the field for AAMU was freshman
Ti'Yanna Watson (Mobile, Ala.) with a time of 26:15.73 placing 69
th. The Bulldogs impressive finish closes out a 2021 campaign that saw them compete in five meets and return to action after a year off.
