TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama A&M continued to raise their level of competition as they took on multiple Power 5 programs at No. 6 Alabama's Crimson Classic on Friday, October 14. They would not place enough individuals to factor in the team standings.
Taking on schools such as Florida State, Georgia, Clemson, UA, Auburn and South Carolina, senior
Aneisha Ingram (Frankfield, Jamaica) led the Bulldogs with a 111-of-286, crossing the line in a time of 23:19.40.
Graduate
Taylor Wingo (D'Iberville, Miss.) was the next highest finisher at 148 with a mark of 25:05.70 and sophomore
De'Ajene Johnson (Detroit, Mich.) was 161
st (26:09.70).
Alabama swept the top three spots to claim their home meet with 26 points with Auburn (79), Middle Tennessee (120), South Carolina (134) and Samford (151) rounding out the top five.
The Bulldogs will be back in action on Monday, October 24 for the 2022 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Championships. They will compete in the Crimson Classic on Friday, October 14 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
