HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M men's golf returns to the links as they head to Flowood, Mississippi for the 2022 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Championships from April 18-20.
Slated to be played at
The Refuge Golf Course located at 2100 Refuge Blvd., the field will feature Alabama State, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Florida A&M, Prairie View, Texas Southern in addition to the Bulldogs.
Designed by Roy Case, the course has been recognized as one of the top public courses in Mississippi and recently underwent a complete renovation. It now provides a more playable layout with stunning views and impressive course conditions.
Representing the Bulldogs will be freshman
BK Kim (Won Ju, South Korea), sophomores
Felipe Gomez Lopez (Bogota, Columbia) and
Fabian Sanchez Torres (Bogota, Columbia) and seniors
Conner McMillan (Oxford, Ind.) and
Jason Johnson (Toledo, Ohio).
The format of the Championships will be 18 holes each of the three days with a minimum of 36 holes needed to be completed in order to name a champion. Each day's round will begin with teams teeing off at 8 a.m.
While there will not be hole-by-hole live stats, scores will update after each round at a link that will be made available prior to the first tee time. Full results and recaps will also be available on
