BK Kim Tied For 14th as Alabama A&M Men’s Golf Wraps Day 1 of PGA Works Collegiate Championship

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Freshman BK Kim (Won Ju, South Korea) leads the way for Alabama A&M men's golf after the first 18 holes of the 2022 PGA Works Collegiate Championship on Monday, May 2. As a team they shot a 315 and are one of just 10 NCAA Division I programs selected to participate in the 35th annual tournament.
 
Kim shot a two-over par 74 to finish tied for 14-of-50 and sophomore Fabian Sanchez Torres (Bogota, Columbia) is tied for 35th with a round of 79.
 
Texas Southern leads the field with a 289 and is followed by Howard (290), Florida A&M (293), Arkansas-Pine Bluff (295) and Chicago State (296) in rounding out the top five.
 
A&M returns to action tomorrow, Tuesday, May 3 for Round 2 with tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m. (EST).
