NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Alabama A&M women's cross country kicked off the 2022 campaign as they finished 7-of-8 at the Belmont Opener on Friday, September 2, finishing with 215 points.
Senior
Aneisha Ingram (Frankfield, Jamaica) led the Bulldogs with a 36-of-57 finish, crossing the line in a time of 20:53.33 while graduate
Taylor Wingo (D'Iberville, Miss.) placed 39
th at 21:33.01. Sophomore
De'Ajene Johnson (Detroit, Mich.) rounded out the top performers in 51
st with a time of 24:13.80.
Southeastern Conference foe Vanderbilt claimed the team title with 24 points, followed by host Belmont and Murray State at 35 and 97 points, respectively.
The Bulldogs are now off until heading to the North Alabama Showcase on Friday, September 16 in Florence, Alabama.
