Bulldogs Compete at UAH Charger Invitational

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University women's cross country team returned to action on Saturday morning competing in the UAH Charger Invitational at the Huntsville Cross Country Course. 

The Bulldogs finished 28th out of 41 teams and registered 886 points on the 5,000-meter course, while Tampa won the meet with 68 points. 

Taylor Wingo led Alabama A&M, crossing the finish line in 19 minutes and 55 seconds. Sanyae Gibson followed in 20:46.2 and Aneisha Ingram was 21:10.1. Laila Gaynor finished in 23:04.2, while Khalea Avery wrapped up the scoring in 25:39.5. 

Alabama A&M returns to the course on Friday at the Crimson Classic, hosted by the University of Alabama.
