FLORENCE, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University men's golf team finished eighth on Tuesday, concluding the three-round tournament, at TVA Credit Union Invitational, hosted by the University of North Alabama, at the Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club.
The Bulldogs shot a final-round 305 and finished with a 902 to claim the eighth spot. North Alabama won the team championship with an 839, followed by Jacksonville State (861), West Florida (867), Samford (878), Montevallo (884), Stephen F. Austin (864) and Western Illinois (895). Wallace State (910) and Samford's B Team (913) rounded out the field.
Niall Bagnall jumped 10 spots and finished tied for 23
rd, shooting 2 over with a 218.
Samuel Boddie was tied for 30
th at 220, while
Lukas Lange shot a 230. Fabian Sanchez carded a 236 and
Kourey Patterson shot a 242.
North Alabama's Andrew Ferworn was the individual medalist, shooting 1 under during the final round to finish at 13 under with a 203.
Alabama A&M wraps up its fall season Nov. 2-3 at the Huntsville Country Club as the Bulldogs face Southern.
