SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. | Niall Bagnall fired an opening-round 75 and is tied for 27
th, while the Alabama A&M University men's golf team is 14
th after the first day of the Bobby Nichols Invitational on Sunday at the Sevierville Golf Club.
Bagnall was one of two AAMU golfers to record scores in the 70s as
Samuel Boddie carded a 76 and is tied for 35
th. Juan Rey shot an 80, while
Gage Flowers and Kourey Pattterson fired 85s.
Alabama A&M shot a 32-over 316 and is 14
th after the first round as Belmont is the lone school under par at 2-under 282. Morehead State is second (292), followed by Lee (294), Cleveland State (295), Tennessee Tech (297), Bellarmine (298), Southern Indiana (299), Chicago State (299), Delta State (300), Northern Kentucky (302), Tennessee State (305), Evansville (309) and Detroit Mercy (311). Christian Brothers rounded out the 15-team field with a 317.
