Shot 77-73-73-223 to tie for 8-of-29 at SWAC Championships and was 8-of-50 (74-74-72) at PGA Works. Other Top-10 was a 10-of-56 (75-79-77-231) outing at NC A&T.
  • Three of the other rounds of 72 came off the club of Gomez Lopez, first with a 72-83-155 performance at the ASU Spring Classic that was good for 7-of-42, in the opening round of the SWAC Championships (72-79-84-235) and the third round of the Alabama A&M Golf Classic (80-73-72-225), a performance that was good for a tie for 19-of-42.
  • Gomez Lopez also shot a 73 in the opening round of TVA Community Credit Union Invitational, fired a 73-73-146 at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate to tie for 32-of-93 and a first round 74 (74-80-154) at the Big Blue Intercollegiate.
  • Johnson capitalized on home course advantage, firing a 75-72-74-221 at Alabama A&M Golf Classic for one of six rounds of 72 by the program on the year. Also had two other rounds of 74, firing them in back-to-back tournaments. First came in first round of Gulf Coast Collegiate Invitational (74-84-81-239) with the next being in the second round of the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate (77-74-151).
  • Sophomore Fabian Sanchez Torres (Bogota, Columbia) fired season-low 74 in third round at NC A&T Invitational and freshman Juan Ray Gaitan a career-best 75 in Round 2 at ASU Spring Classic.
