Spring 2021 (Senior): Led program to first ever HBCU National Championship, first undefeated season since 1966 (5-0) and first SWAC Championship since 2006 while contending with pandemic impacted season … collected massive amount of high profile awards, highlighted by Spring 2021 Deacon Jones Award as Black College Football Player of the Year … named BOXTOROW National Player of the Year and First-Team All-American, SWAC Offensive Player of the Year and All-SWAC First-Team and was Walter Payton Award Finalist (16-of-25) representing the I-AA Heisman Award … earned four Player of the Week honors, including Stats Perform FCS (4/12) and BOXTOROW (4/12) national recognition and SWAC Offensive Player of the Week (4/12, 4/20) … SWAC Preseason Player of the Year, Preseason All-SWAC First-Team and Phil Steele Preseason All-SWAC Second-Team … started all four games on the field (one forfeit), going 91-of-158 for 1,355 yards for an average of 338.80 yards per game … threw 16 touchdowns against just four interceptions and added one score on the ground … South Carolina State (3/6): went 15-of-33 for 272 yards, four touchdowns and three picks, the latter all in the first quarter …connected with Odieu Hilaire on two scores totaling 83 yards and Abdul-Fatai Ibrahim on a 16-yard score … found Brian Jenkins, Jr. from 20-yards out on his fourth TD … Jackson State (4/10): Led team to most points vs. Division I team since 2008, defeating JSU 52-43 on national ESPN2 broadcast … went 27-of-40 with no interceptions and set career-highs with 440 yards passing and six touchdowns while adding a seventh on the ground … found Hilaire six times for 100 yards and a score and Ibrahim for a pair of TDs … found Zabrian Moore on 61-yard bomb and tailback Gary Quarles on 43-yard score … was just ninth time scoring at least 50 points since moving to Division I in 1999 … Alabama State (4/17): Led Bulldogs to 38-14 rout over arch rival, locking up seventh SWAC East Division title and berth in league championship game for first time since 2011 … went 25-of-40 and compiled 372 yards through the air, three touchdowns, no interceptions and a team-high 45 yards rushing on five attempts … connected with Moore four times for 138 yards and a pair of scores and Ibrahim for 102 yards and a TD … No. 25 Arkansas-Pine Bluff (5/1): Anchored SWAC and HBCU Championship victories with 24-of-45 performance that included 271 yards, three touchdowns and just one interception in 40-33 come-from-behind win … found Moore for 13- and 30-yard scores as part of five catch, 111-yard day.

2019 (Junior): Served as a captain in all 12 games … named to Deacon Jones Award Watch List representing nation’s top player from a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) … All-SWAC Preseason and Postseason Second-Team (SWAC) selection … earned spot on All-SWAC Second-Team (Phil Steele) and was named SWAC Offensive Player of the Week (9/30, 10/7, 11/11) … ended season as the program’s career touchdown passing leader (57) and single season passing yardage record holder (3,600) … accounted for 33 touchdowns on the year while leading all SWAC quarterbacks in completions (273), attempts (445), yards and yards per game (300) … ranked second in touchdowns (32) and completion percentage (61.3) … finished in the Top-10 in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) in passing yards per game (No. 5), passing touchdowns (No. 6), total passing yards (No. 7) and completions (No. 7) … also ranked No. 15 in passing efficiency (148.1) … Morehouse (9/1): Went 28-of-44 with 397 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions Black College Football Hall of Fame Classic … hit Brian Jenkins, Jr. on a 20-yard touchdown for the game winning score … earned NFL Network Player of the Game for his performance … Arkansas-Pine Bluff (9/7): Delivered his second consecutive performance of at least 350 yards with a 30-of-43 passing day that included 352 yards, two touchdowns and one interception … two of those scores went to Abdul-Fatai Ibrahim from nine- and 28-yards out … North Alabama (9/14): Went 18-for-34 with 186 yards and two touchdowns, hitting Jordan Bentley (18 yards) and Anthony Howard (23 yards) in the second half to deliver a 31-24 come-from-behind victory … Samford (9/21): Completed 19-of-33 passes for 186 yards with two touchdowns and a pair of interceptions … notched a four-yard score to Joseph Burke and a 10-yarder to Ryan Stoves … Central State (9/28): Finished 22-of-26 for 339 yards and four TDs in Gulf Coast Challenge … threw scores to four different targets … Texas Southern (10/5): Threw for fourth 300-yard game of the year with a 28-of-38 outing that included 377 yards and four touchdowns … two of those were over 50 yards (57, 73) … hit Ibrahim for 12-yard touchdown for game winner in 35-28 overtime decision … Grambling (10/12): Finished 19-of-41 for 225 yards with a touchdown and an interception … Alabama State (10/26): Went 12-of-31 with 236 yards, two touchdowns and an interception … threw a 25-yard touchdown to Zabrian Moore and a six-yard score to Jordan Bentley … also rushed seven times, adding a score on the ground … Southern (11/2): Accounted for all four touchdowns, finishing 29-of-37 for 356 yards, including two scores to Ibrahim and a 60-yard bomb to Zabrian Moore … Jackson State (11/9): Recorded a career-high 410 passing yards on 25-of-40 passing and four touchdowns … one of those was a 54-yarder to Ibrahim and a 32-yard game-winner to Ryan Stoves … Alcorn (11/16): Threw for 264 yards on 26-of-47 passing with two interceptions … Mississippi Valley (11/23): Finished 17-of-31 with 272 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions … connected with Ibrahim (47 yards), Kendric Johnson (six yards) and Moore (36 yards) on touchdowns.

2018 (Sophomore): Team captain in all 11 games … named All-SWAC Second-Team (SWAC) and BOXTOROW National Player of the Week (10/29) … improved on his freshman campaign by boosting his numbers in all major categories … led all SWAC quarterbacks in passing efficiency (128.8), yards per game (220.5), touchdowns (20), yards (2,421) and attempts (346) … also finished second in completions (194) and fourth in completion percentage (56.1) and total offense (2,405) … threw for 14 of his 20 scores along with a 136.7 passing efficiency rating and 252.3 yards per game during conference play … recorded eight games with over 200 yards passing and had seven games with multiple touchdown passes … Miles (9/1): Went 11-of-18 for 185 yards and two touchdowns, including a 44-yard pass to Marceles Clash … also ran the ball three times for 40 yards, with a long of 26 … UNA (9/8): Finished 24-of-40 with 216 yards, two scores and an interception ... also punted the ball once for 45 yards, pinning the Lions inside the 20-yard line … Cincinnati (9/15): Went 11-of-27 for 110 yards and a touchdown on the road … punted the ball once for 38 yards … Southern (9/22): Passed for 210 yards on 17-of-29 passing with a pair of touchdowns … connected with Kendric Johnson (36 yards) and Jordan Bentley (17 yards) on touchdown passes … Jackson State (9/29): Threw for 244 yards and an interception on 25-of-42 passing … also recorded a 31-yard punt, pinning the Tigers inside the 20-yard line … Texas Southern (10/6): Completed 61-percent of passes, going 22-of-36 for 215 yards and three scores on the day ... added a 29-yard punt to pin the Tigers inside their own 20 … Alcorn State (10/13): Finished 20-of-35 for 203 yards and two touchdowns … Alabama State (10/27): Threw for first 300-yard game of the season in his first Magic City Classic with a 17-of-30, 322-yard and three touchdown effort … two of those TDs came on throws to Nathaniel Dell, including a career-long of 81-yards … Arkansas-Pine Bluff (11/3): Passed for second consecutive 300-yard game, throwing for a new career-high of 359 yards on 21-of-42 attempts with one interception … threw for three scores, all over 30 yards, including a 56-yard strike to Octayvious Miles … Grambling (11/10): Went 16-of-28 for 149 yards, a touchdown and three interceptions … threw lone touchdown on six-yard pass to Marceles Clash … Mississippi Valley (11/17): Finished 10-of-19 with 208 yards, a touchdown and an interception … hit Zabrian Moore on a 25-yard touchdown pass.

2017 (Freshman): Started nine games as a true freshman … Named SWAC Newcomer of the Week (9/25) … completed 106-of-219 passes with five touchdowns and 10 interceptions … finished sixth in the SWAC in passing yards (1,192), yards per game (132.4) and total offense (1,144) … UAB (9/2): Went 7-of-17 for 101 yards with a touchdown and interception in first career start … connected on 46-yard touchdown pass to Rod Randolph … South Alabama (9/16): Completed 60-percent of passes for the first time in career, going 11-of-18 for 73 yards and an interception … Texas Southern (9/23): Delivered a monster game against the Tigers, finishing 22-of-37 for a career-high 337 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions … drilled 62-yard touchdown to Octayvious Miles … added 13-yard touchdown pass to Isaiah Bailey … Arkansas-Pine Bluff (9/30): Accumulated 291 yards on with season-highs for completions (26) and attempts (43) … notched a long of 56 yards on a completion to Miles … Alcorn State (11/4): Started against the Braves after not appearing in the previous two games … completed 13-of-34 passes on the day for 142 yards and a touchdown … Jackson State (11/11): Completed 12-of-24 passes for 113 yards with a touchdown and three interceptions on the day … Kentucky State (11/18): Finished 7-of-15 for 76 yards and an interception against the Thorobreds.
