Caroline Nwajei Adeniji

Caroline Nwajei Adeniji, a native of Nigeria, is widely recognized for her accomplishments at AAMU in track and field.  She received honors as three-time All-SIAC championship (1988-1990) in 100m, 200m, 4x100m relay and long jump, along with earning the Most Outstanding Performer in 1988 and 1989.  She is the recipient of the Outstanding Achievement Award, Most Outstanding Female Athlete and the Most Outstanding Freshmen Award.  Adeniji set an indoor track record at the annual NCAA Division II Mason-Dixon Games in 1990 in Louisville, Ky., receiving gold and silver medals for the 55-meter dash.  Adeniji earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education.
