Kim Woodberry received a four-year athletic scholarship to AAMU. She was a member of the Lady Seadogs Swim Team during 1982-85. Woodberry made the Black College All-American List and was awarded the Most Outstanding Swimmer in 1982. She was named Academic Swimmer in 1983 and 1984. She held numerous Black College National Collegiate records in the breaststroke, medley relay, freestyle and backstroke. In the 1984-85 seasons, Woodberry was named co-captain. A Chicago native, she resides in Huntsville, Ala., and works for the U.S. Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal.
