A two-year team captain, LaDarius Tabb led the SWAC in scoring in consecutive seasons, averaging 17 points per game in 2014-15 and 19 points per game in 2015-16. He was named SWAC Newcomer of the Year, earned All-SWAC Second Team honors and ranked 49th nationally in scoring during his first season. As a senior, he earned All-SWAC First Team honors and was named Alabama A&M’s Male Student-Athlete of the Year. A two-time Alabama A&M MVP and SWAC Player of the Year runner-up, Tabb became the fastest player in program history to reach 1,000 career points. He also earned Academic Honor Roll recognition and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in liberal studies.
